Hayward Library & Community Learning Center

The three-story, 58,000-square-foot library and neighboring Heritage Plaza—with its central lawn, hard-scape gathering spaces, walkways, benches, gardens and arboretum of 40 species of rare and mature trees in the heart of downtown Hayward represents years of work on the part of City officials, library staff and the Friends of the Library, as well as the design and construction team.
