Christie Park, near the City of Emeryville’s Public Market, has been renovated and expanded, with the addition of nearly half an acre that was previously a parking lot. In addition to a life-size, 50-foot blue whale play structure designed by the Danish firm Monstrum, the park includes an enclosed dog park.
