Join us for our ReScape interactive Certification Workshop. In January 2023, California DPR Sustainable pest management (SPM) published the “Accelerating Sustainable Pest Management Road Map for California,” an IPM approach that integrates various techniques and products to promote healthy, resilient ecosystems across diverse settings. It talks about reduction of pest management risks and offers effective solutions.
This Workshop is a 6-hour deep dive into areas of focus, role, programs, and available resources in Sustainable Pest Management (SPM) as governed by the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) in California. The Workshop will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of pest management practices. ReScape’s 8 Principles for Regenerative Landscapes will reinforce a whole-systems approach.
This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement sustainable and effective Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. You will delve into various aspects of pest management, from understanding the foundational principles of SPM to gaining proficiency in pest identification, control and safety techniques. You will share issues and emerging trends you are seeing out in the field. We will explore the crucial role of IPM in creating healthy, resilient ecosystems in diverse settings.
By the end of this course, you will know regulations and guidelines governing pest management. Real-world case studies and industry best practices will provide tools to implement IPM strategies effectively.
