Based on ReScape’s 8 Principles, this training provides landscape maintenance professionals with practical tools to manage healthy landscapes, protect local watersheds, and address our changing climate. Learn about regenerative landscape practices from leading experts in soil health, irrigation, plant care, integrated pest management, and more.

Early Bird + Group Tuition (5 or more): $695
This training provides landscape design professionals with practical tools for designing and constructing healthy landscapes that protect local watersheds, conserve resources and address our changing climate. Participants will learn about regenerative landscape practices from leading experts in soil health, stormwater, plant selection, integrated pest management, and more. The Design Qualification Training also provides in-depth information about our Rated Landscape Program and serves as a pre-requisite for becoming a ReScape Rater.

ReScape’s Resilient Regenerative Firescaping Qualification Training (FQT) is based on our 8 Principles for Regenerative Landscapes and establishes a more sustainable long-term approach to managing fire hazards beyond current vegetation management practices. The course provides comprehensive best practices in regenerative landscaping, specifically oriented to reducing fire hazards and preparing cities and large property owners/managers for safety before, during and after a firestorm. It offers cities and communities a pragmatic framework to limit wildfire damage by developing and managing landscapes, advocating for maintenance on others, and supporting property owners to design, build and maintain for fire.
General tuition: $525 | Group Rate: $495
ReScape Qualified Raters are professional landscape architects who verify that the design and construction of a new or renovated landscape meets the requirements of the ReScape Landscape Scorecard. They have met professional eligibility requirements and completed both the ReScape Professional Qualification Training as well as the Rater Training course.
To obtain the ReScape Rated designation for a regenerative landscape project, you must hire a ReScape Rater. The Rater is responsible for ensuring compliance with all the steps of the Rating process.

Renew Your ReScape Qualification
Graduates of our professional Training Programs are encouraged and supported by ReScape to maintain their annual qualification by continuing their regenerative landscape education and practices.
There are two ways for ReScape Qualified Professionals (RQPs) to maintain their qualification:
Register for a Qualification Renewal Workshop
Qualification Renewal Trainings provide RQP’s with the opportunity to obtain instruction and continuing education units to remain current with ReScape regenerative best practices. Qualification Renewal Trainings afford the opportunity to connect and share the latest earthscaping research and techniques with colleagues.
Includes 2 years of ReScape Qualification with an option for a Professional Directory Listing.
Cost: $295 or $340

Submit Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
Along with professional paid membership, RQPs can submit verification that they have continued their regenerative landscape education by participating in trainings or events- classes, webinars, etc.- aligned with ReScape 8 Principles. 3 hours of CEU’s and a paid professional membership are required to renew ReScape Qualification for one year.
Includes 1 year of ReScape Qualification with an option for a Professional Directory Listing.

Advanced Workshops + Certifications
Advanced Professional Workshops are the next level of training for ReScape Qualified and seasoned professionals. Assessing the unique needs of the participants, local experts offer ReScape-designed interactive lectures. The Workshops provide engaging, hands-on activities and experiences, and offer technical support for a smaller group with a deep dive into a targeted subject area or ReScape Principle.
The content delivers state of the art, recently developed regenerative landscaping best practices that address climate change, and that can be utilized immediately in the field.
Advanced Workshops are designed to encourage participants to share valuable knowledge and practices with the group in the Workshop and beyond. The aim is to create a robust community of landscape professionals who are armed with the most up-to-date, nature-based, whole systems skills, and are ambassadors for regenerative landscaping and land use.
We have added ReScape Certification to our portfolio. Offered to ReScape Qualified Professionals, the certification is a professional credential earned by taking an Advanced Professional Workshop with the successful completion of a standardized assessment or exam. The certification is designed to demonstrate a level of technical expertise and competency in a specific regenerative landscaping tool or skill, regulation or landscaping issue. It will be noted in ReScape’s Professional Directory.
