As California fluctuates between extended periods of drought and seasonal floods, it is important to consider how we design and manage landscapes to respond to these changing conditions. This discussion will address watershed health and water issues in the world of climate change—drought vs. flooding.
Ryan Stroupe, ReScape Board Member and PG&E Educator, will moderate a panel discussion that offers information and solutions. Panel will include: Brock Dolman from Occidental Arts & Ecology Center and Co-Director of the WATER Institute; Pamela Conrad, landscape architect and Senior Associate at CMG; Bruce Riordan, Program Director at the Climate Readiness Institute; Amelia Luna with Sherwood Design Engineers; Claire Nordlie, Supervisor of Water Conservation at EBMUD.
