Bay-Friendly Workshop: Hack Your Landscape!

Willow Pass Recreation Center

Concord, CA 94519

July 24, 2018, 9:00AM - 12:00PM

Bay-Friendly One-Day Workshop:

Presented by ReScape CA

Sponsored by The City of Concord

Can you HACK a landscape?  We think so!  In addition to the simple, un-vetted Google search, there are several less-known apps, databases, and online tools that could be a real blessing to everyone from the aspiring designer to the “old pros”.

Learn where in your landscape design work-flow you can save time on on everything from the direction of the wind on a site to plant selection, irrigation, and all the way through to documenting maintenance expectations.  We will be placing emphasis on where the work is hackable and where your solid professional judgment is still needed.

In this class, we will uniquely not be explaining these environmentally important topics – very unlike us!  The focus is entirely on today’s technology:  where we can use it and where it is better to exercise professional judgment.

Join us for the first of what we’re sure will be an ever-changing, constantly updating subject.

This class is recommended for everyone in the landscape design and construction industry from design and horticulture students to landscape architects, designers, and design-build contractors!   DIY’ers may find some things beneficial as well.
