ReScape California COVID-19 Update: March 9, 2020

ReScape California has been monitoring the evolving response and guidance from local and national officials regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We feel that it’s important that we coordinate our response in alignment with the efforts of state and local public health professionals. On March 6, San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced several measures designed to curb the spread of this virus, including the recommendation to cancel nonessential public gatherings of 50 or more people for a period of two weeks. And although our gatherings are less than 50, we are rescheduling several of our trainings and events in both the Bay Area and Sacramento Region.

Therefore, the following are being rescheduled. We will be contact with all participants with updates, including the reschedule dates.

  • March 10, 17 – Maintenance Qualification Training – San Francisco Presidio
  • April 1 – Sacramento Climate Change Consortium RAPID Climate Response – American River College.

We will continue to closely monitor developments and are working with host agencies to inform any decisions about the all our events going forward, and we will immediately notify you. Please visit our ReScape Calendar for updates.

While our trainings and services are important to the fulfillment of our mission, nothing is more important to us than your health and well-being, and that of our members, staff, instructors and supporters. In that spirit, we ask you to please take care of yourselves and others. Please follow CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of this virus and seek information from knowledgeable and trusted sources. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the California Department of Public Health.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
