A Model for Drought Management

A new report by the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) offers insight into how California can address environmental water needs utilizing lessons learned from Australia’s extreme drought.  Victoria, Australia has developed key policies and approaches to water management practices that ensure urban, agricultural and environmental water needs are met during times of drought.  These policies and approaches can serve as a guide for California policy and law makers looking to adapt to become more drought resilient.
